Pie in the Sky is a story about connection—

At its center is Aya,
a young girl navigating a fractured world,

and PIE—
a machine built for a purpose it doesn’t fully understand.

Together, they move toward something neither of them can reach alone.

This story is meant to be felt.

That’s why it’s being told through stop-motion—
a medium built, not generated.

Every frame is physical.
Every movement intentional.

It’s slower.
More demanding.

And it carries something with it
that’s hard to replicate any other way.

This film isn’t being outsourced.

It’s being designed, built, and animated
entirely in Oklahoma City—
inside a working stop-motion studio.
