A Message from the Founder…

I’m deeply humbled by the incredible support I’ve received from friends, colleagues, and family over the past five years, and especially this past year. While my first year as a freelance artist brought its fair share of challenges, it also solidified my belief that stop-motion animation is where I truly belong.

Now that I’m fully immersed in doing what I love, my thoughts have turned to the future—specifically, how I can use my work to make a positive impact on the people around me. When I imagine what I want to be doing in 20 years, part of me sees the allure of animating for feature films. But I also know that relocating or sacrificing quality time with my daughter isn’t a path I’m willing to take.

Instead, I’ve chosen to focus on making a broader positive impact right here in Oklahoma City.

This decision has led me to rethink my approach as a freelance artist and small business owner, ultimately rebranding MTWC Animation Studio to better align with my vision for the future. Today, I’m proud to be the Founder and Creative Director of Loud Cloud Animation Studio.

At Loud Cloud, our mission is to create one-of-a-kind content that helps brands and businesses stand out by telling unforgettable stories. Stop-motion animation is a beautiful blend of art and science, and it’s most powerful when artists from various mediums collaborate. This presents a unique opportunity for Loud Cloud to spotlight Oklahoma’s thriving community of talented artists. We’re also committed to giving back by educating and mentoring aspiring creatives interested in Oklahoma’s growing film industry.

With plans for a dedicated space in downtown OKC, Loud Cloud will partner with local artists whenever possible and create opportunities to connect our community with the incredible work being done right here in our state. I’m also driven by the dream of developing an original stop-motion series produced entirely in Oklahoma, building on the success our state is already seeing in the film industry.

It’s a big dream, and there’s plenty of work ahead, but with Oklahoma’s fantastic rebate program, state-of-the-art facilities, and, most importantly, the incredibly talented creative community, I believe we can make it happen.

This is an exciting time to be an artist, and I’m grateful to everyone who has supported me on this journey. I hope you’ll continue to support me and Loud Cloud as we build handcrafted stories and worlds together.
