About Justin Rasch

Justin Rasch is an award-winning stop-motion animator, director, and founder of Stunt Puppet Pictures. He began his career producing independent short films and rose to prominence animating for shows like Robot Chicken. He later joined world-renowned studios to work on features such as Kubo and the Two Strings and Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio — both critically acclaimed for their technical achievement and emotional storytelling.

Justin’s work is known for its fluid motion, expressive characters, and kinetic storytelling. As the creative force behind Stunt Puppet Pictures, he continues to push the boundaries of handcrafted animation, all while mentoring aspiring artists and sharing his love for the medium with a global audience.
