The OKC Animation Meetup is back for year four!

Hosted by Loud Cloud Animation Studio, the annual meetup brings together animators, artists, filmmakers, agencies, studios, students, and anyone interested in animation for a casual evening celebrating the work being made right here in Oklahoma.

This year we're returning to ARTSPACE at Untitled, the home of our very first Animation Meetup back in 2023.

Come grab some food from the food trucks outside, meet other people in Oklahoma's creative community, and watch a showcase of animation produced by Oklahoma artists, agencies, students, and studios over the past year.

What to Expect

We'll be screening a curated showcase of recent Oklahoma animation, including 2D, 3D, stop motion, motion graphics, VFX, commercial work, short films, experimental work, and everything in between.

We'll also have food trucks set up in the ARTSPACE parking lot and plenty of time to hang out, meet other artists and filmmakers, and put some faces to the work being made around the state.

Whether you work in animation every day, are learning the craft, hire animators, or simply like seeing cool things move frame by frame, we'd love to have you there.

No tickets. No admission. Just show up.

Call for Animation Submissions

Made something cool this year? We want to see it.

We're collecting animation created or produced by Oklahoma artists, agencies, studios, and students during the past year.

Anything goes. Commercials, short films, title sequences, motion design, VFX, 2D, 3D, stop motion, student work, experiments, or even a great five second loop.

For longer projects, send us your favorite excerpt. We generally keep individual showcase pieces around two minutes or less so we can feature as many Oklahoma creators as possible.

Please send a downloadable link along with:

• Title
• Agency, studio, or artist
• Where the piece was created or released
• A short description or interesting BTS context
• Animators and artists you'd like credited
• Any additional credits

Submission deadline: Thursday, October 15

Send submissions to ops@loudcloudanimation.com

You do not need to submit work to attend. Come hang out.
