Event Overview:
Join us for the second annual OKC Animation Meetup, a gathering of creative minds from across Oklahoma’s vibrant animation community. Last year’s event was a huge success, and we’re excited to build on that momentum with an even bigger and better showcase this year. Whether you’re a seasoned professional, an aspiring animator, or simply a fan of the craft, this event is for you.

This year's meetup will highlight the best of Oklahoma animation, featuring a curated selection of work produced or published within the past year. From captivating short films to eye-catching loops, we’ll be showcasing the diverse talent and storytelling that makes our state’s animation industry so unique.

What to Expect:

• A showcase of recent animation work from agencies, freelancers, students, and studios

• Networking opportunities with animators, industry professionals, and enthusiasts

• A chance to learn more about the creative process behind the works on display

• Light refreshments and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere for creatives

Call for Submissions:
We’re looking for recent animation work to feature at this event! If you or your agency, studio, or students would like to submit your work, here’s what we’re looking for:

• Submission Deadline: September 23, 2024

• All types of animation welcome, from short loops to clips of up to 90 seconds

• Send a downloadable link to your work along with the following details:

  • Title of the piece

  • Intended platform for release (e.g., broadcast, Instagram, in-store display)

  • Agency, Studio, or Artist responsible for the piece

  • A brief description (4-5 sentences) with any behind-the-scenes insights

  • Names of specific animators who contributed

  • Any additional credits you'd like to include
